Glass Pool Fencing & Shower Screens
Completed in Wareemba, Sydney in 2023, this private residential project brings together multiple bespoke glass interventions: frameless glass pool fencing, custom shower screens, and additional interior and exterior glass elements developed to support a clean, contemporary architectural language.
Around the pool, transparent glass fencing was designed to protect the perimeter while preserving the openness of the outdoor space. The panels maintain uninterrupted sightlines across the garden and water, allowing light and landscape to remain visually continuous. Minimal fixings and careful alignment keep the system discreet, so the enclosure reads as a thin architectural line rather than a visual barrier.
Inside the home, bespoke shower screens extend the same design intent into the bathrooms. The glass panels, paired with minimalist profiles, are composed to feel light and precise — defining the shower area without fragmenting the room. The result is an atmosphere of clarity and calm, where surfaces, reflections and natural light work together with restraint.
The remaining glass works across the residence were approached with the same sensitivity: each element measured, refined and integrated to respect proportions, finishes and spatial rhythm. Rather than adding “features”, the glass is used as a quiet connector — shaping transitions, framing views, and supporting the overall coherence of the home.
This Wareemba project reflects Romano Glass’ approach to residential glass solutions in Sydney: technical precision guided by aesthetic intention, where every detail contributes to a unified experience of space.
