Project Overview
In 2022, Romano Glass completed a refined glass pool fencing installation at Crown Casino, contributing to an architectural setting defined by clarity, restraint and contemporary elegance.
Located within the pool area of the complex, the project required a solution capable of ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while preserving the uninterrupted visual connection between water, landscape and skyline. The objective was not simply to install a barrier, but to integrate a system that would respect and enhance the surrounding architectural language.
Design & Material Selection
A thin glass panel system was selected to maintain a minimal and sophisticated aesthetic, perfectly aligned with the design intent of the building. The reduced visual weight of the glass allows natural light to move freely across the pool deck while preserving open sightlines toward the riverfront and cityscape.
The panels were carefully engineered to balance strength and transparency. Stainless steel fixings were integrated with precision, ensuring structural stability without compromising the purity of the overall composition. Every element was chosen to complement the architectural rhythm of the space rather than interrupt it.
Installation & Integration
The installation phase demanded meticulous measurement and execution. Working within an active commercial environment, the Romano Glass team ensured seamless coordination and precise alignment of every panel.
The result is a glass pool fencing system that becomes part of the architectural dialogue — subtle yet defining. It ensures safety while maintaining the visual continuity essential to a high-end hospitality environment.
At Crown Casino, the intervention demonstrates Romano Glass’ commitment to delivering architectural glass solutions where technical precision meets design sensitivity. The fencing does not dominate the space; instead, it enhances the experience of light, openness and spatial harmony.
